6.22.2006 - It has been a while since the last journal entry. We lost a few of them along the way when we had some problems here, but we are getting things back up and running now. To update you all, I will be hitting the studio yet again this coming OCTOBER thru part of NOVEMBER. I will be working with Grammy Award-Winning producer Mitch Dane up in Nashville, TN for the 4th album. The album will probably consist of 10 or 11 new songs. We are definitely going for a different feel to the album which I hope you all will enjoy. I can't tell you how excited and ready I am to record this one. Lately my life consist of waking up, grabbing my guitar every morning and spending all day fullfilling the addiction I have to writing and forming art. It has been crazy how many songs have been coming out lately! Needless to say, writing has taken a brand new turn for the better, at least I hope. I have a few shows here and there the rest of the summer, but mainly my time is spent in my room with my guitfiddle. I think at some point in July I am going to wake and and drive to Dallas to hang with some good friends there and do some writing as well. That trip is not planned but when have I ever planned all that well. A lot of the new songs come from experiences I have had on the road lately. It is my life and it is what I do, so that is what I write about. My good friend Jon Black got married not too long ago, he is a rockin musician. I notice a trend when you get to the age that I am, everyone starts to settle down and get married, it is crazy. I am 24 years old and the idea right now scares the badoogles (I just felt like making up a word) out of me. Anyway, I am rambling like I always do when I post one of these, so for now I leave you with this, HAGS (remember back in middle school when we wrote all these in each others yearbooks, we were so cool)!!! - - - RCH
